So you think you’re in love

17Oct10

As the title mentions, so u think u’re in love. Someone is about to disappear outta your life and suddenly u feel this loss. Unable to comprehend it, u start to feel that u really like that person. Maybe u had tinges of interest here and there in past moments shared with that person but R U Sure U R In Love?

For me, I used to be this guy who used to feel uncomfortable over the thought that some gal I liked was missing someone else and not me. But the truth of fact is, anyone can miss anybody. U don’t have to be in love to miss somebody. It is a mere feeling for the lack of presence of that person in ur life.

The thought of losing someone can be the one catalyst to transit ur feelings from fondness to like/love. Most people are not used to the idea of losing something or someone. Honestly speaking, who is? So at the moment u realize that u might lose someone, ur initial feelings for that person magnify or expand into that void which was created earlier.

It’s the same theory as u dropping ur ice cream while u’re eating it. Imagine u had a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Very plain,  very simple, nothing fabulous to boast about. If u finished it, u wouldn’t think much about it. But if u dropped it the very second u tried to bite into it and the darn ice cream stall was shut down. U would actually feel that a little down and tell urself things like, “why did i drop it” or “it was such a waste, it would have tasted so good”.

So the next time u think u’re in love, think again. Perhaps u are or perhaps u really aren’t.
